1-on-1 coaching for anyone who is ready to turn their truth into a published book. This is powerful space where your story, your healing, and your liberation are centered.
90 minutes of focused support on you, your book, and your liberation.

You've been carrying this book for years. Maybe it's a memoir about your journey, your thought leadership based on your expertise or maybe it's the personal development book your community needs.
But every time you sit down to write, something stops you:
❌ "Who am I to write this book?"
❌ "I don't know how to structure this."
❌ "I'm terrified of what people will think."
❌ "I keep starting and stopping."
❌ "I need help, but writing coaches don't understand my experience."
Here's what you actually need: Someone who sees you, understands the weight of telling your story, and knows how to guide you from first word to published author.
That's what 1-on-1 coaching with Heather 'Byrd' provides. I work hard to provide you with a healing-centered, liberation-focused space where your story is held with care and your craft is sharpened with love.

Your testimony could be next.
"Working with Heather has been an absolute game-changer for me. As someone who likes to just talk and get ideas out, Heather is my easy button. She instantly gets my style, context, and voice, then elevates it with her own research and insight. She's in her zone of genius and knows exactly what to create. Her gift is unmatched, and collaborating with her unlocks another level of my own creativity and thought leadership."
— Nyerere Billups, | The Growfessor | Author of Unscripting
"I grew up in a world of silence. I had learned to be invisible. And being invisible is not it. Black women today are told to keep your head down, work, raise your children, and you move through life. BWP taught me that I have a voice."
— Teresa | Author of Forthcoming Book Rocks In My Shoes
"I was invited to give my first in-person testimony and had all these thoughts and
stories in my head, but I couldn't make sense of them. I reached out to Heather with this
project, and I'm so glad I did. Heather was gracious with her time and patient with me.
She helped me sift through all the stories and details in my head—I had them, but she
helped me organize them. What I really love about working with Heather is how
excited she gets about your ideas. She made me feel like my story mattered, like 'girl,
you can do this.' That's powerful."

Naming your fears is part of the work. If you don't see your question here, bring it to your Strategy Call or send us a note.
If you're thinking about it, you're probably ready. Start with a Byrd's Eye Strategy Call ($350) to see if we're a good fit. No commitment beyond that first session.
Coaching helps you write the book. Editing happens after the book is written. In coaching, we work on structure, voice, overcoming blocks, and building your writing practice. Editing is for polishing a completed manuscript.
No. Some clients come with a completed rough draft, others come with just an idea. We meet you wherever you are in the process.
This is exactly what healing-centered coaching addresses. We'll move at your pace, honoring what feels safe while still moving your book forward. You don't have to be "healed" to write your healing story.
Yes. All sessions are via Zoom, so we can work together from anywhere in the world.
You can extend for additional sessions, or if you're ready, move you into our Just Pub Track to publish, or continue independently with the tools you've learned.
Yes. We can talk through options during your Strategy Call.
You've been carrying this story long enough. It's time to put it on the page.
Start with a Byrd's Eye Strategy Call—90 minutes where we'll map out your book, identify what's blocking you, and create a clear plan forward.
No commitment. No pressure. Just clarity.
If 1-on-1 coaching feels like the right next step, we'll talk about it. If it doesn't, you'll still leave with a roadmap you can use.
Either way, you'll have more clarity than you do right now.
